Last week, 50 UC Jr. High students, along with five teachers and administrators, visited Washington D.C. The students visited many sites. During the trip, they had the honor of having four of our own students (Jude Connor, Wade Botkin, Corbin Richards, Connor Walser) lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. These young men were selected by a committee after they wrote an essay explaining the meaning behind the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
This was arranged by Bobby Durbin and we are so grateful for that! It was a great experience for the students and a once in a lifetime opportunity for them.
