The Indiana Department of Education is providing a waiver for Friday (3/15) and Monday (3/18). That means we do not have to make-up those two days or use any scheduled make-up days to meet the 180 day requirement. We will end the school year with 178 student days.

Reminder to all 6th and 7th grade parents of the Washington DC meeting on Tuesday March 19th at 6:00 PM in the cafetorium.
Due to schedule changes from the tornado relief efforts, the Senior Parent meeting has been postponed to a later date. Stay tuned for a schedule update. Thank you!

After a lot of thought and consideration, we have made the decision to cancel school tomorrow, Monday, March 18th. Our community continues to recover and will be in this state for weeks to come.
After today, we will consolidate volunteer efforts with the resources in Winchester.
School will be in session Tuesday.

We will be serving lunch at Winchester Community High School Commons beginning at 11:00 AM. Come if your hungry! We have blankets and cases of water. Here to help.
A meeting for graduating seniors and their parents has now been scheduled regarding the upcoming commencement season. We will share the dates of the planned senior events and obligations. Please makes plans now to attend this important meeting.

Another successful UC Explore trip. Carts & Parts truly is an amazing place. Kids asked great questions and learned a lot about work and service.




During one of the Workforce Wednesday blocks, 7th graders have been working in groups to design educational board games. Part of the project involves creating and printing game pieces using the 3D printers. Today, Mrs. VanCamp, Mrs. Calhoun, and Mr. Wray showed off a beautiful set of monkey game pieces one group has created for their game.

Mrs. Adelsperger's and Ms. Lykins' WFW student media/KISS TV students are collaborating each Wednesday to produce and air a weekly trivia show, called Tribal Trivia Showdown.

Ms. Cantu's "Sizzle and Spice" Workforce Wednesday group was comparing store bought spaghetti noodles and sauce with homemade versions. Each group created homemade noodles and their own sauce.
