Our Workforce Wednesday pitch groups are continuing to work hard developing their presentations. The official competition date is April 16th and will be broadcast by KISS Communications!









Members of AVID 12 and NHS packed food to distribute to 230 households at Circle You Food Pantry in Richmond.

Mrs. Pollitt and Mrs. Adams are leading a sewing block as part of our Workforce Wednesday projects. Great job by our students of collaborating and making curtains for the group who is converting an old school bus into an RV!





The students in the Playground Paradise Workforce Initiative have raised / been promised over $80,000 towards the revitalization of Harter Park and new playground equipment. What an AMAZING accomplishment for a group of our youth putting in the effort to be changemakers for our community. During Dr. Seuss Week, teachers read the story "Maybe You Should Fly a Jet, Maybe You Should be a Vet." This story discussed possible job opportunities. After the read aloud, students wrote about careers mentioned in the book they like and do not like. Then, students drew a picture of the career they are interested in. Students were able to connect their learning to their RIASEC Codes!

Also, Kyle Wright, an IU East representative, will be present to discuss the ICC program with any student who has interest in a four year college/university.


Today UC Explore visited Revolutionary Safety to learn more about working in the safety business and identifying workplace hazards and safety issues. Thanks to Jim Mangas and his crew for hosting us and sharing more about your career!






The advanced art students are working on their oil paintings. They are learning the style of “the old masters.” Great job!


Our newest school-based enterprise, Wigwam Coffee, is off and running! Today was the first day for business!


This week we highlight Oaklee Reichard in our Employee Spotlight.


Mrs. Hosbrook's 7th grade math students collected surveys and graphed the results! Very nice!



Emma and Luke traveled to Indianapolis to present at the LAUNCH meeting. The audience included school leaders, state policy makers and industry partners. They shared their experiences and how they have helped them identify strengths and fostered growth. Great job!
