A few of our sewing students finished their big projects this week and some even had time to make another small project yesterday on our final sewing day. We are so proud of all of them, but better yet I think they are proud of themselves too! There is nothing better than looking at something and saying, "Yeah, I made that!" Great work!

Ms. Wambo and Deborah Moffatt, FAFSA advisor, will be available to ANYONE in the community who has questions about filing their FAFSA for themselves or their students. You can drop in with a quick question or work on a laptop provided for you by RESC. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is offered to any US citizen who may qualify for grants, loans, or scholarships for college or trade schools.

RAZ-32 is a collaborative that allows UC, Winchester, and Monroe Central to share pathways and programs like health care, communications, business, welding, childcare, and more! Today, our students got to tour programs of interest.

Today our 7th grade students traveled up to Vision Corner to learn more about our programs housed in this building. They were able to ask questions about the Media and Communications Pathway, Apache Design, the Medical Pathway and ESports.

This week we are featuring Campbell Kerns in our Employee Spotlight. She is currently the Valedictorian of the class of 2026, a Lilly Finalist and Indiana College Core student. She is the daughter of Allen and Katie Kerns and plans to attend Taylor University in the fall.

Mr. Tipple's WFW group raced their Valve Cover Racers this morning. A big "Thank You" to the Stateliners car club for donating valve covers and the use of their track. Also, Thank You to the Starlite Skating Rink for donating wheels and bearings.

Today a group of students traveled to Edison State Community College to visit the STEMM Expo. They participated in breakout sessions such as "Can You See Sound", "Med Lab Tech", "Brave the Winter Wonderland", "Racing Bristlebots", "Destruction Analysis", "Explore the Mysteries of the Black Box" and more. It was a great time for learning and networking!

RAZ-32 students are hosting a community blood pressure clinic on November 13th. Please see the flyer for more details.

The Dentist will be coming to our school on Nov. 18th & 19th. They accept Medicaid, private insurance, offer self-pay rates and grants through their foundation. You're student is also bringing home a permission form!

Do you need help filing your FAFSA? College Goal Sunday is Indiana's largest FAFSA filing event and it is quickly approaching!
